Admission Procedure in Vasavi college of Engineering
Admission to various courses in Vasavi college of Engineering is carried out in two categories. Admission under Category A is through the marks secured in the entrance examination. The management seats are filled under Category B.

Vasavi college of Engineering offers a number of graduate and post graduate courses in Engineering. It also offers a post graduate course in Computer Application.

Vasavi college of Engineering offers the following Master of Engineering courses:
- Advanced Design and Manufacturing [Mechanical]
- Communication Engineering and Signal Processing [ECE]
- Computer Science and Engineering [CSE]
- Embedded Systems and VLSI Design [ECE]
The college also offers a Master of Computer Application (MCA) course. The total intake for the Bachelor’s programme is around 1000 students per year. The master’s programme has a total intake of 72 students. Each specialization has 18 seats. The Master of Computer Application course has a total of 60 seats.
Admission Procedure in Vasavi college of Engineering
Admission to the BE programme is primarily based on the Andhra Pradesh state level entrance examination. The engineering, agricultural sciences and medical common entrance test (EAMCET) is conducted by the Government of Andhra Pradesh. Up to 70% of the BE seats in Vasavi college of Engineering will be filled based on EAMCET score. Reservation is applicable as specified by the government. Management seats are also available in Vasavi college of Engineering. 30% of the B.E seats are filled through the management quota. Only those candidates who have completed the 10+2 level or an equivalent with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics as the main subjects are eligible to apply. Candidates with a Bachelor of Science degree with Mathematics as one of the subjects and Diploma holders can also seek lateral entry. Admission will be based on the rank secured in the entrance exam.
Admission to the various branches of Master of Engineering course is carried out inr two categories. Applicants who have a valid GATE score and those who feature in the merit list can gain admission through category A. Admission to this category is also conducted based on the marks secured in the Post Graduate Engineering Common Entrance Test (PGECET). This state level entrance examination is conducted by the Government of Andhra Pradesh. Category B is the management seats. Sponsored candidates will be given preference.
Admission to the MCA course is based on the marks secured in the Integrated Common Entrance Test (ICET) conducted by the Andhra Pradesh Government. Management seats are also available for this course.
