Admission to Industrial Relations and Personal Management course in M. S. University of Baroda is based on scores obtained in Screening Test, Group Discussion and Personal Interview. There will be objective type questions in written test from topics such as Labour welfare, Industrial relations and Personal management. Bachelor degree in any stream is the basic educational qualification required for this course.

Eligibility Criterion

Graduates in any discipline from a recognized University are eligible to apply for this course in The Maharaja Sayajirao University of Baroda. Those who have completed their matriculation, higher secondary education and graduation with English as a subject only are eligible. Candidates who have completed degree course without having English as a subject can also apply for this course. Such candidates should have completed their graduation in English Medium. Final year candidates who are awaiting results can also apply. Those who belong to Universities other than M.S. University of Baroda are required to obtain the eligibility certificate issued by the University.

Admission Procedure

Admission to the course is based on the performance in following

  • Written Test
  • Group Discussion
  • Personal Interview

There will be multiple choice objective type questions in written test. The exam pattern will be similar to that of GRE/ GMAT/ UPSC. Questions will be asked from topics such as General Awareness, Business Awareness, Indian Economy and Indian Politics, Current trends in Industry and Business. Candidates can expect graduate level questions. Apart from this, there will be questions from the following topics

  • Labour problems
  • Labour welfare
  • Industrial relations
  • Personal management

Candidates’ interpersonal skills and awareness in general topics will be evaluated in group discussion. Those who have cleared the written test and group discussion will be short listed for final interview. There will be questions from candidates’ area of interest, academics in personal interview. Final selection will be based on composite scores obtained in qualifying examination, written test, group discussion and personal interview.

Application Procedure

Candidates who seek admission to this course are required to apply in the prescribed application form that can be obtained from the University against cash payment of Rs.100/-. Applications can also be obtained by post by taking a “Demand Draft in favor of Director, P.G. Diploma in RPM, Faculty of Social Work, The MS. University of Baroda”. Fully filled in applications should be sent to University along with attested copies of supporting documents. Eligible candidates will be sent call letter for written test.
