This entrance exam is conducted by All Institute of Medical Sciences for admitting candidates to its four year B.Sc (Hons) Nursing course. This course is offered to only female candidates.

Structure of AIIMS Entrance Exam for B.Sc (Hons) Nursing

This test consists of four parts of objective questions having duration of two hours. Distribution of marks among each part is given below

Part A

• Physics – 30 marks

Part B

• Chemistry – 30 marks

Part C

• Biology – 30 marks

Part D

• General Knowledge – 10 marks

On giving correct response, candidate can score one mark for each question. Otherwise 1/3 marks will be reduced for each question. Multiple responses will be considered as incorrect response and marks will be reduced for that.

Eligibility Criteria

Candidates should be an Indian citizen with their age not below seventeen years. They should have passed plus two or its equivalent examination from any recognized University or any State Board. They should also have studied Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English as a part of their curriculum.

How to Apply?

Online: Candidates can apply for this exam through the online application forms available on the website www.aiimsexams.org. After submitting all the details, candidates can pay the fee using the computer generated challan form at State Bank of India. They will get an acknowledgement through E-mail ID, if the application form is accepted by the concerned authority. Candidates should retain the AIIMS copy of challan to present it at the time of exam.

Offline: Applicants can obtain the form from Examination Section, AIIMS, New Delhi after paying the fee using demand draft. Demand draft should be taken in the name of Accounts Officer (Exams), AIIMS payable at New Delhi. Applicants can obtain the form from AIIMS either by directly or post. Additional fee of Rs.50/- needs to be paid if they need the form through post. Applicants should fill the form available offline and submit it to the Assistant Controller of Exams, All India Institute of Medical Sciences, Ansari Nagar, New Delhi-110 608 directly or by post.

Examination fee specified for different category are given below

• General/OBC category – Rs.1000/-
• SC/ST category – Rs.800/-

How to fill the Form?

Applicants should write their name in capital letters as it appears on the Secondary School Leaving Certificate. They should write their name from the first column itself and leave blank space between two parts of the name. Date of Birth should be written as it is written in the Birth certificate. In the case of online applications scanned photograph and signature is needed. In the case of offline application, photograph should be pasted on the form. Signature should be within in the box specified for it on the form. Photograph should be colored pass port size taken with a placard indicating name and the date of taking photograph.
