Structure of Andhra University M.Sc in Geography Entrance Test

Andhra University M.Sc in Geography Entrance Test will be of objective type pattern. The candidates will have to answer a total of 90 questions within time duration of 75 minutes. The question paper will have 3 sections – Part A consisting of 40 questions, Part B of 30 questions and Part C of 20 questions. 1 mark will be awarded for each correct ones and ¼ marks will be deducted for each wrong answer.

Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible for the M.Sc in Geography Entrance Test, the candidates should have completed their Bachelor of Science programme from a recognized University with a minimum aggregate of 50% marks (45% for SC and ST candidates). The candidates who have completed their Bachelor of Arts programme with Geography as one of the subjects are also eligible to apply for the same.

How to Apply?

The application form along with the information brochure for M.Sc in Geography Entrance Test can be obtained from concerned sale counters by fee payment of Rs. 300/-. The same can also be obtained via post for which a request accompanied with demand draft of Rs. 350/- drawn in favour of ‘The Director’, AUCET, Directorate of Admissions payable at Visakhapatnam has to be sent. The completed application form in all respect has to reach ‘The Director’, AUCET, Directorate of Admissions, Visakhapatnam on or before the last date.

How to fill the Form?

The aspirants have to very carefully fill the application form. All the columns in the form have to be filled furnishing the exact details. No column has to be left blank. The personal details filled in the application form have to match with that in the candidates’ higher secondary certificate. The candidates are advised to read the information brochure carefully before filling the application form.
