This Entrance Examination is for admission to journalism courses in Asian College of Journalism. This is one of most reputed institution in south Asia providing PG course in journalism. The college is one of the well known institutes for journalism aspirants. The Indian Government has been approved this institution for providing the various journalism courses and also placing the students, this college is having 100% placement record.

Structure of ACJ Test

The exam is having two parts:

Test to find the applicant’s English language skills

Test for General knowledge and awareness of current affairs.

The test will also check the candidate’s ability in writing, problem solving skills and analytical thinking.

Eligibility Criteria

Graduates from any recognized university are eligible for this post graduate course. Candidates must have at least 45% in their 10+2 from any recognized board and also candidates who have done their diploma in graduation and 10+2 level are also eligible for this course.

How to Apply?

Candidates can apply both the ways, through online and also by getting application through post. Those who are applying online should send two passport sized photos and a DD of Rs.1000/- in favor of “media development foundation” payable at Chennai. The other candidate should send a DD of Rs.1000/- along with an extra Rs.50 to avail the prospectus cum application through post.

How to fill the Form?

Form should be filled very carefully. If the candidate is applying through online, he / she should read the conditions carefully before filling the form and also he should do thorough checking before submitting the form. Any mistake will lead to termination of the candidate from writing the exam. Those candidates who are applying through application form; they should read the prospectus carefully before filling the application. There will be examples shown for each column to fill, see that before filling the form. Use blue/ black ball point pen to fill the form. Do not fold the application form, it is to be scanned. If there are folding in the form the data will not be read properly. Also need to send necessary certificates along with the application form.

Students who read books will be benefited more; others should start reading books because one part of the test is for testing the English knowing skills. There are many books available for practicing the problems and also mock papers and previous years question papers will be available in the net. Try downloading those papers and work on it. Take the examination with confidence and sound preparation background.

How and Where To Get the Results?

The results will be published in the website of the ACJ. Candidates from India who have performed well in this test will be called for an interview at the college in mid of June. A memo mentioning call letter for interview will be sent from the college to the candidate.

Score Validity

The score for this test is valid only for one year and the candidates can use the score for the admission purpose only.
