Re: What path should I choose after 12th to become a Journalist?
You have to study journalism and mass communication to be a journalist.
You should have minimum 60% aggregate and good marks in english to study this subject. The cut off marks varies from one college to the other. Since the demand for this course is quite high now therefore the competition is quite stiff. Top journalism and mass communication colleges in India are as follows:- The Indian Institute of Mass Communication (IIMC),New Delhi Xavier Institute of Communications (XIC), Mumbai AJ Kidwai Mass Comm Research Centre, New Delhi Symbiosis Institute of Mass Communication, Pune Asian College of Journalism Chennai Department of Communication & Journalism, Pune Indian Institute of Journalism and New Media, IIJNM, Bangalore |

Re: What path should I choose after 12th to become a Journalist?
There are a couple of colleges and institutes that run BA and BSc in mass communication and journalism in and around Delhi. NISCORT could be one of your good choices as this college is exclusively for media studies. They only run journalism and mass communication programems and they have dedicated studios and other facilities. See this website www.niscort.com for details.
