The Coast Guard came into role in India on 01 Feb 1977 as one of the fresh service.It was the outcome of an responsiveness which has been rising in the  Government for the necessity to put into effect National Laws in the waters under national jurisdiction and ensure safety of life and property at sea.

Job Profile

The candiadte is appointed for the post of Assistant Commandant in the Indian Coast Guard

Educational Qualifications

The candidate must have a bachelor’s degree in any discipline of a recognised university by the Central/ State Government/ UGC with Mathematics and Physics as subjects up to 12th Std of 10+2+3 scheme of education.

Elgibilty

The male candiadte are the one and only who can apply the age limit for them is Born between (01 Jul 1985 to 30 Jun 1989)

Selection Process:

the slected candiadtes needs to undergos more slection process which are divided into two phase. (i) Preliminary Selection Boards (PSB), It consists of General Mental Ability Test in which the candidates will be tested for General Awareness, General Intelligence and Reasoning. (ii) Final Selection Board (FSB), It consists of Psychological Test, Group Testing and Interview (Personality Test).

How to Apply:

the male candiadte need to sent the applications in the prescribed format (type written or hand written in English/Hindi) is to be sent so as to reach on or before 30 Nov 2009 to conatct details given below.Along with the application the candiadte needs to sent all attested copies of certificate of age, caste of the candidate, educational qualification including statement of marks, NCC, Sports and self addressed unstamped envelope of size 25 x 10 cm are to be attached with the application
