Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University has an urban campus of 60 acres at Dwarka. Mr. Tejendra Khanna is the Chancellor of the university. Dr. D. K. Bandhyopadhyay is the Vice Chancellor of the university. The university was founded as a public university in the year 1998. The university also has one constitutional college named Indira Gandhi Institute of Technology. The university is a member of MCI, DEC, ACU and AIU. Initially the university was established as Indraprastha University. The university got its present name i.e. GGSIPU in the year 2001.

Job Profile:

Eligible candidates will be recruited by direct or deputation mode of recruitment in Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University on the following vacant positions of Assistant, Junior Assistant and Junior Technician (Electrical). Only eligible candidates are invited to apply for the desired position.

Recruitments to be made on Direct basis:

1. Recruitment of Assistant:
No. of posts: Only 2 posts are available.
Age Limit: Maximum age limit is 35 years.
Educational Qualification: Bachelor’s degree with atleast 55% marks in aggregate from a recognized university or equivalent with atleast two years experience in the relevant field. Candidates should also have a data entry speed of 8000 keys per hour in English.
Pay Scale: Rs. 5200-20200 with a Grade Pay of Rs. 2400.

2. Recruitment of Junior Assistant:
No. of posts: Only 15 posts are available.
Age Limit: Maximum age limit is 30 years.
Educational Qualification: Bachelor’s degree (of three years) with atleast 55% marks in aggregate from a recognized university or equivalent is required for the post. Candidates should also have a data entry speed of 8000 keys per hour in English.
Pay Scale: Rs. 5200-20200 with a Grade Pay of Rs. 1900.

Recruitments to be made on contract basis:

3. Recruitment of Junior Technician (Electrical):
No. of posts: Only 1 post is available.
Educational Qualification: Candidates should be atleast 10th passed with an ITI certificates in Electrician trade with atleast 55% marks in aggregate. Candidates should also possess atleast 2 years experience in the relevant field.
Pay Scale: Rs. 5200-20200 with a Grade Pay of Rs. 1900.
