AUCET Geography Entrance Test 2012
Andhra University often carries out entrance examinations for the selection of candidates in to their academic courses. AUCET Geography entrance test is conducted to select candidates in to the research programs in Geography.
Structure of AUCET Geography Entrance Test
AUCET Geography Entrance Test is an objective model test. There will be two papers for the entrance test. The first paper is common for all subjects. The second paper is based on the topics covered under the qualifying examination. The total time allotted for the entrance test is 130 minutes in which 45 minutes is dedicated for paper I (50 questions) and the rest for paper II (100 questions). The first paper is meant to measure the scientific awareness and reasoning aptitude of the candidate. This paper may include elementary questions on earth, atmosphere, and planets. One can expect questions on computer awareness also.

Eligibility Criteria
Aspirants who have completed their postgraduate level education in Geography or any related field are eligible to apply for the test. The qualification must be obtained from a recognized educational institution with an overall aggregate of 55% marks.
How to Apply?
One can obtain the application forms for the AUCET Geography Entrance Test by paying an amount of Rs. 300/-. This can be procured directly from any of the authorized sales counters of the university. By sending a demand draft of Rs.350/- candidates can receive the application form via postal method too. This must be taken in favor of ‘The Director’, AUCET, Directorate of Admissions.
How to fill the Form?
The candidates should handle the form with at most care. The forms must be filled precisely and neatly. The guidelines for form filling can be collected from the official website of the University. As incomplete applications may get rejected, the candidate should ensure the completeness of the application before submission of the same.
