Eligibility Criteria and Exam Pattern for AUCET (Bio Chemistry)

In order to apply for Andhra University Common Entrance Exam (AUCET), it is essential for candidates to complete B.Sc or B.Sc (Vocational) degree in subjects like Chemistry, Bio Chemistry and Food Science and Quality Control. It is essential to score at least 50% marks at graduate level to attend this exam. There will be a total of 90 objective model questions organized in three different sections. Candidates need to complete answering the entrance exam within a time limit of 75 minutes.   

Eligibility criteria for AUCET (Bio Chemistry)

B.Sc or B.Sc (Vocational) graduates with Chemistry or Bio Chemistry as one of the subjects are eligible to apply for AUCET (Bio Chemistry). Apart from those, candidates who have completed B.Sc (Vocational) course in Food Science and Quality Control can also submit applications for attending this entrance examination. It is compulsory for candidates to score at least 50% marks in graduation to apply this entrance examination.

Exam pattern for AUCET (Bio Chemistry)

The pattern of AUCET entrance examination includes objective model questions to be completed within a total time frame of 75 minutes. The entrance exam question paper contains a total of 90 questions which is broadly divided in to 3 main parts –

  • Part A – 40 Objective model questions for 40 marks
  • Part B - 30 Objective model questions for 30 marks
  • Part C - 20 Objective model questions for 20 marks

There will be a deduction of 1/4 marks in case of a single incorrect answer given in AUCET exam.
