Auction Recorder - Punjab State Agricultural Marketing Board
Punjab State Agricultural Marketing Board shortly called as PSAMB is also called as Mandi Board and this board came into existence in the year 1961 on the 26th of May. The board was established under the Punjab Agricultural Produce Markets Act with an objective of controlling and supervising the marketing network of procurement, selling, processing and storage of processes and non-processed produced through agriculture.
It is a local authority as well as corporate body with common seal and a perpetual succession with powers to sell, hold and purchase property.
Recruitment by PSAMB:
PSAMB calls for applications from eligible candidates for the position of Auction Recorded.
Name of the position: Auction Recorder
Number of Vacancies: 142 posts (handicapped – 3, Ex-SM – 4, BC – 6, SC – 63 and UR – 66)
Pay Scale: Rs. 10300-34800+ Grade pay of Rs. 3200
Eligibility Requirement:
Educational Qualification: For applying to the post of Auction Recorded in PSAMB, candidates must have completed their graduation in any stream of education with not less than 50% of marks and they should have secured minimum 50% of marks in their matriculation examination as well.
Selection Process:
Selection of appropriate candidates for the position of Auction Recorded will be based on their performance in the written test followed by counseling.

Candidates will have to apply online before 06th of June 2011 5:00 pm through the following link at: http://recruitment.cdacmohali.in. After submission of online application, candidates will have to take the print out of the form with registration number and this should be retained by the candidates for future enquiry. In addition, candidates will have to paste latest passport size photograph in the print out taken and this should be produced at the time of written test and counseling. The online application submission begins from the 23rd of May 2011 and ends on the 06th of June 2011.
