1) Role of agriculture in economy-Peculiar features of agriculture in underdeveloped economy,uncertainties in economy due to agriculture etc.

2 ) Production and productivity-reason for low productivity,factors affecting the production,performance measures ,growth rate in Indian agricultural sector etc.

3 ) Land reforms-institutional land reform,achievements and failures in India in land reform system etc.

4 ) Agricultural marketing-marketing parameters,defects in marketing,effect of marketing on agricultural products etc

5) Agricultural finance- Sources of agricultural finance in India,money lander,traders,commission agents,rural banks,NABARD etc.

6 ) Agricultural prices-policies and problems,prices in Indian markets .

7 ) Agricultural labor .

These are the core topics to be covered ,other topics related to communication skills,interview skills may be added additionally .

The Bachelor of Science in Agriculture, usually abbreviated as either B.Sc.(Agr.) or B.S.A. or B.Sc.(Ag.) or B.Sc. (Hons.) Ag. is the first undergraduate degree awarded by university faculty of agriculture and agricultural colleges. The program is 4 years of study above Grade 12 High School graduation.

The B.Sc.(Agr.) degree differs from a B.Sc. degree in that the courses focus on agriculture: for example, the student will study agricultural economics rather than economics. Like engineering or forestry, agricultural science courses are infused with practicality.
