Haryana Public Service Commission was established under the Government of India. Serving the needs of state of Haryana is one of the major aim or objective of the commission. The commission is responsible for making recruitment on various posts in different Government offices present in the state of Haryana. For making recruitment of the subitable candidates, commission conducts the competitive written examination and interview test. The commission is comprises of total three persons which includes one Chairman and 12 other members. Dr. D. P. Vats is the current chairman of the commission.

Job Profile:

Applications are invited from eligible Indian Nationals for filling up the following vacant posts of Ayurvedic Medical officer, Lecturer, Reader and Assistant Town Planner in Haryana Public Service Commission. Selected candidates will be recruited in various states or union territories of North East Region, Lakshadweep, Andaman & Nicobar Island, Ladakh region of Jammu & Kashmir, Sikkim and Pangri Sub-Division of Himachal Pradesh.

1. Recruitment of Ayurvedic Medical officer (Class-II) (Health & Ayush Department, Haryana):
No. of posts: Only 37 posts are available.
Age Limit: Candidates should have age in between 23 to 40 years as on 1 February 2012.
Educational Qualification: Degree in Ayurvedic system of Medicine from a recognized university with knolwedge of Matric or Sanskrit upto Matric Standard.
Pay Scale: Rs. 9300-34800 with a Grade Pay of Rs. 4800.

2. Recruitment of Lecturer (Class-II) (Prasuti and Stri Roga in Shri Krishna Government Ayurvedic College):
No. of posts: Only 1 post is available.
Age Limit: Candidates should have age in between 21 to 45 years as on 1 February 2012.
Educational Qualification: Post Graduation Degree in Prasuti and Stri roga from a recognized university with knolwedge of Matric or Sanskrit upto Matric Standard.
Pay Scale: Rs. 9300-34800 with a Grade Pay of Rs. 5400.

Posts of Reader are available in the disciplines of Rasashastra and Bhaishajya Kalpana and Prasuti and Stri Roga in Shri Krishna Government Ayurvedic College.

3. Recruitment of Reader (Class-II):
No. of posts: Only 2 posts are available.
Age Limit: Candidates should have age in between 21 to 45 years as on 1 February 2012.
Educational Qualification: Post Graduation degree in the concerned discipline with minimum 5 years teaching experience. Knowledge of Hindi or Sanskrit upto Matric Standard is desirable.
Pay Scale: Rs. 15600-39100 with a Grade Pay of Rs. 6400.

4. Recruitment of Assistant Town Planner (Group-A) (Town and Country Planning Department, Haryana):
No. of posts: Only 7 posts are available.
Age Limit: Candidates should have age in between 21 to 40 years as on 9 March 2012.
Educational Qualification: Post Graduation degree in the Urban and Regional Planning from a recognized university. Hindi or Sanksrit upto Matric Standard is desirable for the post.
Pay Scale: Rs. 15600-39100 with a Grade Pay of Rs. 5400.

Application Fee:

General candidates are required to submit the application fee of Rs. 500. Rs. 125 is the amount of application fee for SC/BC/EX-serviceman/Physically Handicapped person of Harayana and Women candidates of all categories of Haryana. Candidates are required to submit this application fee through Indian Postal Order or Bank Drafts from any branch of a Scheduled Bank of India. It should be made payable to the Secretary, Haryana Public Service Commission at Panchkula.
