Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission works under the Regulation of Uttara Pradesh Public Service Commission Regulation, 1976. The commission was constituted in the year 1937 and has its headquarter located at Allahabad. The commission also has a camp office present in the state capital, Lucknow. The first ever public service commission was established in the year 1926 with limited advisory functions. Shri. B. B. Singh is the Secretary of the commission while Shri Malkiat Singh is the Honourable Chairman of the commission.

Online applications are invited from eligible and qualified candidates for filling up the following vacant positions of Medical Officer (Homeopathy), Lecturer (Homeopathy), Lecturer Forensic Medicine and Toxicology, Professor Materia Medica, Residential Medical Officer and Deputy Sports Officer in Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission.

1. Recruitment of Medical Officer (Homeopathy):

Age Limit: Candidates should be between 21 to 35 years.
Pay Scale: Consolidated salary of Rs. 8000-13500 per month.

2. Recruitment of Lecturer (Homeopathy):
No. of posts: Only 15 posts are available.
Age Limit: Candidates should be between 25 to 40 years.
Pay Scale: Rs. 15600-39100 with a Grade Pay of Rs. 5400.

3. Recruitment of Lecturer Forensic Medicine and Toxicology:

Selection Process:

A competitive written as well as a interview test will be conducted by the Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission. The selection of best suitable candidates for the above mentioned posts will be made on the basis of candidate’s performance in written and interview test.
