Selection Procedure:
This is very much important for the candidates to score higher marks in the CAT exam which leads them to move for the next selection procedure. The final stage of selection depends on different processes and each process will carry marks for the students like CAT, Personal Interview, group discussion, graduation, 10 & 10+2, Graduation and Miscellaneous performance. Those candidates who have done their best in each process are selected for the different postgraduate programs.
Availability of forms for BIMTECH 2011:
The eligible aspirants can apply for the application form which is available from the last week of the month of September at its own campus. There is also a process of getting the application form, just by sending request letter with a demand draft named to Birla Institute of Management and Technology or they can collect it from the home website. It is also be given in different centers like Career Launcher, IMS, Career Forum, Time, PT Education etc.

Availability of application forms: 3rd week of September, 2010
Last date for request for Applications: 2nd week of December, 2010
Last date for submission of forms: 2nd week of December, 2010
Personal Interview and Group Discussions: from 3rd week to fourth week of February, 2011
Declaration of list of selected candidates: 2nd week of March, 2011
Last date for Closing of Admission: end of the month of April, 2011
Starting of the Academic Session: 1st week of June, 2011
Eligibility criteria:
To apply for BIMTECH a candidate has to be a graduate with atleast 50% marks in Gradudation. Students in final year of their graduation can also apply for BIMTECH.

in cat i am expecting around 80% and in mat its aroun 90% .
