BSNL TTA Exam Pattern
The Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) Telecom Technical Assistants (BSNL TTA) is carried out by the Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited for the recruitment of aspirants into the TTA post.
Only individuals who are citizens of Indian are allowed to appear for this examination. They also must not be above 27 years. The lower age limit is 18 years.
Applicants ought to have 3 year Diploma in any of the following areas:
- Computer Engineering
- Electrical Engineering
- Electronics Engineering
- Information Technology
- Instruments Technology
- Radio Engineering
- Telecommunication Engineering
Those who have done their M.Sc in electronics can appear for the BSNL TTA exam as well.
Structure and Syllabus for BSNL TTA Exam
The BSNL TTA examination is carried out by 24 BSNL Telecom circles. The examination pattern may show a discrepancy as per as the different BSNL telecom. The topics that are covered in the syllabus of the TTA examination comprises of:
- Applied Mathematics
- Physics
- Basic Electricity
- Electronics Devices and Circuits
Question Pattern of BSNL TTA Exam
The question pattern of the BSNL Telecom Technical Assistants (TTA) is given below:
The TTA examination shall have a single paper. This paper will have a time period of 3 hours. The total marks that are carried by this paper are 200. The test is classified into 3 parts. The divisions are:
- General Ability Test – This part shall have 20 questions
- Basic Engineering – This part shall have 90 questions
- Specialization – This part shall have 90 questions
As to qualify in the examination, aspirants of the general category need to have 40 percent marks and 33 percent marks are needed by aspirants of the reserved category. PH candidates of all categories are given a relaxation of 2%.
Preparing for BSNL TTA Exam
When preparing for this examination, aspirants need to study from the beginning. This examination can be cracked through the help of systematic preparation. As the paper includes multiple topics, students need to ensure that they study every single thing. They must also make sure that they do not miss any part of the portions. Students need to set time limits for every portion and study accordingly. They can also try to practice by themselves.
Question papers of the previous years will be available from the internet as well as leading bookstores. This will be very helpful for aspirants as they will be able to understand the pattern as well as syllabus of the question paper. Besides this, they will also get familiar with the time limit of the examination. They can also enroll themselves with any well known coaching centres and prepare themselves well. One other thing they can do is to seek help from individuals who have appeared for this examination before. These methods will ensure that the aspirants realize their goal.
