CISCO Placement Papers
B.Tech graduates who are looking for an employment opportunity with CISCO must be first familiar with format of the test that they conduct to screen students for the next rounds of selection. The written test generally comprises of a number of sections. The sections are aptitude section which tests the candidates’ general reasoning ability and the ability to think logically, English, the section on technical topics. This consists of questions from data structure, C, theory of computation, Networks and operating systems. Te duration of the test is usually one hour.
The aptitude section consists of about 20 questions based on aptitude, analogy, synonyms and antonyms. The technical section requires that the candidates are thorough with their technical skills in the subjects mentioned above. The questions can be based on predicting the outputs of programs, finding out errors, there are questions on the different types of sorting and searching techniques, questions on pointers. Often questions from electronics are also included in the technical section of the test.
