Pay Scale: Candidates appointed for the position of Clerks will be coming under the pay scale of Rs.5200-20200+Rs.2400 as GP.

Eligibility requirements:

Educational Qualification: Candidates should possess a degree in arts of science or equivalent thereto from a recognized university and they should have passed matriculation with Hindi as a subject. Candidates should also be proficient in operation of computers.

Selection Procedure:

Selection of candidates will be done after three stage selection process, which includes written test for a duration of two hours divided into two parts. Part I is general knowledge test for 50 marks for a duration of 60 minutes and part II is English composition test for 50 marks for a duration of 60 minutes. After written test, candidates equal to 3 times of number of vacancies will be short listed for taking up proficiency test in computer operation (spreadsheets and word processing) for 20 marks and finally candidates qualifying in both first and second stage will be called for Viva Voce and checking of original documents as the third stage of selection process.

Examination fee:

General category candidates of Haryana and reserved category candidates of other states will have to pay a non-refundable examination fee of Rs.500 and SC/ST/BC/OBC/ESM candidates of the state of Punjab will have to pay a fee of Rs.125. Fee should be paid before 25th of January 2012 through cash deposit receipt in any branch of SBI. The original copy of receipt should be retained by candidates for future reference.
