The primary functions of Indo-Tibetan Border Police Force (ITBPF) are to safe guard the northern borders of India, detection & prevention of border violations, providing security to the local people, check illegal immigration, trans-border smuggling & crimes, provide security to sensitive installations, banks and protected persons, and to maintain order in any region during any disturbance.

Job Profile:

Indo-Tibetan Border Police Force (ITBPF) invites application from eligible male candidates for the posts of Constable (Cook) and Constable (Washermen).

No. of posts: Constable (Cook) – 123; Constable (Washermen) - 49.

Pay Scale – Rs. 5200 - 20200 + Grade pay of Rs. 2000 per month

Eligibility:

Age criteria – The minimum age limit is 18 years and the maximum age limit is 25 years (Relaxable as per rules).

Educational Qualification – The candidates must have must have successfully passed 10th standard. The ST candidates of Mizoram State must have completed at least 8th class. Selection Process:

The recruitment process involves height bar test, race, Physical standard test (PST), physical efficiency test (PET), trade test, written test, interview, document checking, and medical examination.
