Admission Process in B.S Abdur Rahman Crescent Engineering College

In order to join for B.E/B.Tech course, it is essential for candidates to complete 12th class in science stream. HSC course must be completed with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as subjects and with a minimum of 50% marks. Selection will be based on the entrance exam, BSAUEEE (B.S. Abdur Rahman University Entrance Examination), organized by the institute.

For M.E and MCA courses, admission is given on the basis of TANCET (Tamil Nadu Common Entrance Test) score. Candidates who qualify in the entrance examination need to attend a Personal Interview as well. The final selection of candidates for these courses will be on merit based on their performance in qualifying examination and entrance test together.

Those candidates, who wish to join for MBA course, should be graduates in any specific disciplines. It is compulsory for candidates to qualify and attain a good score in MAT (Management Aptitude Test) to get admission for MBA. They should have passed any other nationally recognized entrance exams like CAT (Common Admission Test) or BSAU, organized by the college. Based on the marks obtained in any of the above mentioned entrance exams, they will be chosen for Group Discussion and Personal Interview.  Those who get through these processes can join the course after certificate verification.
