The foundation stone for D.A.V. College was laid in the year 1919 on the 11th of July and it is affiliated to Chhatrapati Shahu Ji Maharaj University. The college has been awarded with B++ grade status by National Assessment and Accreditation Council. The college has shown great potential for putting together the components essential for getting success in life and work. The college holds the pride of having the former prime minister of India Sri Atal Bihari Vajpayee as its alumni.
