Details of Young Banker’s Program in Axis Bank
Young Banker’s Program is carried out by Axis Bank in collaboration with Amity Global Business School. The basic objective of the program is to nurture young professionals in banking. Under this program, the participants are awarded with Post Graduate Diploma in Banking Services (PGDBS) which is much equivalent to that of MBA degree. Selection of eligible candidates is made through a two stage process, aptitude test, and personnel interview. After completion of the course, students are absorbed as Assistant Manager in Axis Bank with a gross salary of Rs. 3.71 lakhs per annum.
Eligibility and Selection Process for Young Banker’s Program in Axis Bank
Graduates in any stream are eligible to apply. Such candidates should have at least 55% marks in degree with a consistent academic performance. Age of the applicant must not be greater than 25 years.
Banking is looking for candidates with good communication skills, integrity, dedication towards work, and positive attitude. Selection of eligible candidates is made through a two stage process, aptitude test, and personnel interview. Written test is conducted online and is based on the following topics.

- Logic and Reasoning Skills
- Personality Assessments
- Quantitative/Numerical ability
Duration of the written test is 2 hours. Those who clear the written test can attend the interview for final selection.

Fee Details of Young Banker’s Program in Axis Bank
Fee for the course must be paid trimester wise. For the first trimester, students should pay fees of Rs. 1 lakh + Hostel Security Rs. 10,000/-. For the rest two trimesters, candidates should pay Rs. 1 lakh each as fee amount.
Advantages of Young Banker’s Program in Axis Bank
Students who can get through the selection process is awarded with Post Graduate Diploma in Banking Services (PGDBS), which is much equivalent to MBA program. Duration of this course is 1 year where as that of regular MBA is 2 years. During the first nine months of the course, students are offered with stipend of Rs. 5000/-. During the later period of internship, students are offered with Rs. 12,000/- per month as stipend. After completion of the course, students are absorbed as Assistant Manager in Axis Bank. Gross salary offered for the job profile is Rs. 3.71 lakhs per annum.
