Intelligence Bureau has invited applications for the position of Assistant Central Intelligence Officer (Grade II). Degree/Diploma holders in technical streams like Electrical Engineering, Telecommunication, Software Engineering and Computer Applications are eligible to apply. Selection of suitable candidates is done on the basis of a written test that comprises of questions on Electronics, Mathematics, General Knowledge, etc. Applications can be send online through the web portal of the Ministry of Home Affairs.

For ACIO (Tech)

Candidates interested to apply for the position of ACIO (Tech) must have any of the following educational qualifications.

• Bachelor of Science in Mathematics
• Bachelor of Science in Physics
• Diploma in Electrical Engineering
• Diploma in Electronics Engineering
• Diploma in Telecommunication
• Master of Science (Wireless) in Telecommunication Engineering

And

• Diploma/PG Diploma in Computer Applications from any recognized Polytechnic/Institution.

Or

• Bachelor of Computer Applications
• Bachelors Degree in Computer Science/Information Technology
• BE/B.Tech in Software Engineering
• BE/B.Tech in Information Technology

For ACIO (WT)

Candidates interested to apply for the position of ACIO (WT) must have any of the following educational qualifications.

• Bachelor of Science in Mathematics
• Bachelor of Science in Physics
• Diploma in Radio Engineering
• Master of Science (Wireless) in Telecommunication Engineering

And

• Diploma/PG Diploma in Computer Applications from any of the recognized Polytechnic/Institution.

Or

• Bachelor of Computer Applications
• Bachelors Degree in Computer Science/Information Technology
• BE/B.Tech in Software Engineering
• BE/B.Tech in Information Technology

Other than educational qualifications, eligible candidate need to satisfy certain age requirements. Age of the candidate must be anywhere between 18 and 27 years.

Selection Procedure for ACIO (Tech)/WT

Selection of eligible candidates is done on the basis of written test. Written exam is conducted in objective model and contains questions from the following topics.

• Comprehension
• Electronics
• General Knowledge/Awareness
• Mathematics
• Physics
• Reasoning

Total time allotted for the completion of the test is 1 hour and 40 minutes.

Application Procedure for ACIO (Tech)/WT Recruitment 2013

Applications can be submitted through online method only. There will be two parts for the registration process. In Part I candidate need to fill details on educational qualifications, personnel details and related particulars. On successful completion of Part I registration, Part II will be opened for them.

In Part II, candidate needs to select the fee payment mode. Application fees amount to Rs. 100/- only. SC/ST candidates as well as female candidates are exempted from fee payment. Fee payment can be done through fee challan form/ ATM-cum-Debit card/Internet Banking. All transactions should be made through State Bank of India only.
