Eligibility Criterion and Remuneration

Candidates who are having the following educational qualifications are eligible to apply for the below mentioned posts in Indian Institute of Information Technology and Management – Kerala.

Consultant: Those who have completed Ph.D in Tamil/ Hindi or linguistics are eligible to apply for this post. They should have a minimum of 15 years professional experience in Teaching or in Research. Salary package amounts to Rs.20000/- per month.

Research Associates (Language Technology): Candidates who have completed Post Graduation in Language Technology or Linguistics from a recognized University are eligible to apply. They are required to have a minimum of 3 years experience in Language technology. Selected candidates can earn from Rs.12000/- to Rs.15000/- per month.

Research Associates: Those who have completed Bachelor of Technology/ Engineering in any of the following are eligible to apply.

• Computer Science
• Electronics and Communication
• Information Technology

In addition to this, those who have completed Masters Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or Master of Computer Applications can also apply for this post. They are required to have a minimum of 3 years professional experience in Software industry or any other public sector organization. Those who have professional experience in Perl/ Python Programming will get additional preference. Remuneration amounts to Rs. 12000/- to Rs. 15000/- per month.

Technical Assistant: Candidates who have completed bachelors’ degree in Computer Science/ Computer Applications or Information Technology from a recognized University are eligible to apply for this post. They are required to have professional experience of a minimum of 8 to 10 years in Server maintenance or system support. Those who have experience in Linux server administration are preferable. Salary package amounts to Rs. 14000/- to Rs.18000/- per month.

Sr. Research Associates: Those who have completed Bachelor of Technology in Computer Science/ Electronics or Information Technology are eligible to apply for this post. Apart from this, candidates who have completed Master of Computer Applications, Master of Business Administration can also apply. Aspirants are required to have a minimum of 5 years experience in Research or any public sector organization. Those who have experience in e-governance and open standards will be given special preference.

Technical Writer: Candidates who have completed Post graduation in any discipline from a recognized University are eligible to apply. They should have minimum of 2 years professional experience in Technical/ Copy writer. Those who have completed certification course in copy writing/ professional communication will get additional preference. Candidates should have good command over written and oral communication in English. They should be proficient in computer operation. Monthly salary amounts to Rs. 12000/- to Rs. 15000/-.
