Difference between Thesis and Dissertation
Thesis is submitted at the end of one’s Master’s degree program. In thesis, one has to conduct his own research and it has to be original too. When one writes a thesis he usually gets scholarships. Thesis analysis is generally added to the already existing literature. Dissertation is submitted at the end of a PhD program. In Dissertation one can synthesize any information that is collected. Dissertation is normally an analysis of the already existing literature.
Thesis
A thesis is a proposition which is normally maintained by an argument and it will be put forward as a premise that is to be maintained or to be proved. The length of thesis is around 100 plus pages. Data collected in thesis is generally based upon the hypothetical analysis of various contents. Aspirants who have done thesis have a great career in research field as well. The knowledge gained by these people will enable them to build up a good career in the research field.
Dissertation
A dissertation is considered as a treatise advancing a new point of view resulting from detailed research works. The length of dissertation is around 300+ pages. Dissertation is generally comprised of theory and also argumentation based on the original research. Aspirants who have done dissertation in their academic programs will be benefited in their career side as well. They will be well experienced in the field of research and they can easily get placed in the research related industries. They will have good basic knowledge in many areas and this will enable them to choose the teaching field as well.
Key difference between Thesis and Dissertation
