One of the growing computer training organizations in our nation is DOEAC C. It provides various courses to the students. The B level of this institute is equivalent to MCA. One of the subjects of the 5th sem is Networks management and Information security and so the exam paper is such made so as to cover the entire syllabus. The pattern of the paper does give us some information about the type of study needed. It also gives us information regarding the selective study for the exam.

As such there are no sections in this paper .all are main questions divided into subparts.

Pattern and number of questions to be answered

There are no parts in this question paper. All the questions are arranged serially and all are long questions and are divided into parts. There are a total of 7 questions. The first question is compulsory. It has seven questions in it. And usually they are short answer type questions. Then out of the remaining questions we need to attempt only four that is we need to write 4 questions from question no 2 to 7. These questions do have parts usually they have three questions but of unequal marking.

Marking for the questions

The examination for this paper is conducted out of 100 marks. The first question carries 28 marks that is each of the seven questions carry 4 marks. The remaining 4 questions carry 18 marks each. As the questions are subdivided the mark is also divided but not equally.

The allocation of time

The students are given a total of 3 hours to complete the paper.
