Rajiv Gandhi University was initially established as Arunachal university in the year 1984. Professor K. C. Belliappa is the Vice Chancellor of the university. The university has a rural campus and is affiliated to University Grants Commission. The university comes under the Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India. The university became a central university by an act of parlaiment. Application Fee:

An application fee of Rs. 200 is need to be submitted by the General and OBC candidates. No application fee is need to be paid by the candidates belonging to SC/ST/PWD categories. The payment of application fee must be done in the form of a demand draft. The demand draft should be drawn in favour of Registrar payable at SBI, Doimukh/ Vijay Bank, Doimukh.
