Exam pattern and Syllabus of RBI Assistants Exam
RBI Assistants exam consists of five main sections i.e. Test of Reasoning, Test of English Language, Test of Numerical Ability, Test of General Awareness and Test of Computer Knowledge. To qualify the exam, candidates are required to obtain minimum marks in each of these sections. Reasoning section includes questions on Logical Reasoning, Verbal Reasoning and Non- Verbal Reasoning. English Language section includes basic questions like Grammar Usage and Comprehension to test the English Proficiency of candidates.
Numerical Ability Test includes arithmetic questions like percentage, interest, finding cube root and square root etc. General Awareness includes questions on RBI, current events and important personalities, places and dates. Basic concepts and applications of Computers are mainly asked in the Computer Knowledge section.
RBI Assistants Exam Pattern
Only objective type questions will be there in the RBI Assistant exam having five sections that is
- Test of Reasoning

- Test of Numerical Ability
- Test of General Awareness
- Test of Computer Knowledge
Candidates can score maximum 40 marks in each section. Maximum one mark can be scored if the answer is correct and there will be negative marking for wrong answers. All the five sections included in the Assistant exam should be completed within two hours.

Apart from that, this section includes questions from the internal structure of computers. There will be questions on compiler, operating system and central processing unit. Also, there will be questions on how data is stored on computers. Candidates can expect basic questions about RAM, ROM, Modulation, Demodulation etc. Names of famous hardware or software companies and their products will be asked too in this section.
