Devi Ahilya Vishwavidyalaya, Indore organizes common entrance test for selecting candidates in to different undergraduate and post graduate courses. The entrance exam is different for courses after 10+2 (which is categorized under Group –B and Group –C ) and courses after graduation (which is categorized Group-A and Group D). The entrance exam will be carried out in objective model. For both Group –A and Group – B, a total of 75 questions will be included from subject areas like data interpretation, quantitative ability, logical reasoning, English and GK.

Courses after 10+2 – Objective type pattern will be followed in this entrance exam.

Group – B – This section consist of a total of 75 questions (15 for each subject area) from the following sections –

• Logical Reasoning and General Intelligence
• General Awareness and Awareness of Socio-economic environment
• English Language Comprehension
• Data Interpretation

Group – C – It is essential to answer questions related to the following subject areas in this section –

• General English – 15 questions
• Physics– 20 questions
• Chemistry – 20 questions
• Mathematics / Biology / Bio Technology – 20 questions

(Candidates opting for specific courses in this section will be given an option to choose subjects of their choice)

Courses after Graduation

Group-A – This will be a common test paper for candidates where in it includes a total of 75 objective model questions. Each subject area will include a total of 15 questions which is as follows -
