MBA stands for Master of Business Administration

This is a PG course and this course can be done in 4 forms:

• Part Time
• Full Time
• Distance Learning
• Executive MBA

Being a +2 completed student,you cannot join in MBA as is said before itself that it is a PG course and as like all other PG courses you need to have a basic eligibility criteria which is that you need to have completed a UG course

And for joining in MBA course the criteria is that you need to have completed a UG course of 3 years duration and must have secured at least 55% aggregate in it.You can join in MBA course at any age as there is no age limit for studying this course.

Apart from all this the candidate need to write the entrance exam which are conducted in many parts of the country for state level and for National level exams.

There are eligibility criteria's for every exam and you need to satisfy them to apply for the respected exam which you are going to apply for.

There are many entrance exam but still the main exams which you can opt are:

• CAT
• MAT
• XAT
• AIIMA
• TANCET

At this stage you cannot join in MBA Course,but you can join in it when you have finished your UG course,so time is there so concentrate on UG degree and then apply for MBA which is a PG degree.

you can apply directly for MBA after XII.

One can directly apply for that after XII class.

one can join MBA program directly after XII ,There are two ways by which one can do the MBA program


-after graduation
after XII class one can apply for that it is an undergraduate course of three years which is divided into 6 semesters.it is an three year undergraduate course like B.B.A,B.Com etc.

M.B.A is Master of Business Administration (MBA)

M.B.A is a Post-graduation course.

Without graduation you are not eligible for Post-graduation.
So I am sorry to say that you are not eligible for M.B.A after passing graduation.

M.B.A is 2 year course.

For M.B.A you have to pass graduation with minimum 50% marks.
For admission in top college you have to qualify the entrance exam like:-

Well after just your 12th you cannot directly jump onto MBA course. MBA is a master's degree. So like any other master's course, it requires a graduation prior to it. Now along with this MBA has few more criteria. Let me tell you about those criteria:
1)The graduation must be done from a well-known and reputed college or organization.
2)The graduation course must be a degree one and never a diploma.
3)After your final year you must secure more than 50% in your graduation. You can apply for MBA in the last year of your graduation too, but then this 50% criteria must be complied with.
4)Lastly, you must clear that MBA entrance examination, which is applicable to that college. For example, CAT for IIM, IBSAT for ICFAI, OPENMAT for IGNOU etc.
So mold your career accordingly.

Sorry , to say but no one can do MBA after 10+2 level , as there is some educational qualification that one needs to have and that is :

1. Graduation degree in any discipline from recognized university/college , wuth having at least 50% for General , and for SC/ST 45% required .

2. Not only this , you need to apply for MBA entrance exam also and you need to qualify also with good percentile in any of the one MBA entrance exam , and these are :

*CAT .
*MAT.
*XAT.
*GMAT
*TANCET .
*MH-CET .
*OPEN MAT . etc......

3. Qualifying with good percentile lead you to get admission in a good college of MBA .

4.So friend , if you are really interested in doing MBA you need to dedicate three more years towards your study .

Dear Aspirant,

MBA is a Post graduation degree course my friend.So it is not possible without doing a Under graduation.

So in order to get the MBA Degree first you need to do the UG course.

So after that you need to write any entrance exam by which you can get the MBA seat.

Some colleges have their won entrance exams and some top colleges have a common entrance exams.

The famous exam is CAT for all the IIT's and NIT's.

GMAT is the exam for which you can study in the foreign.So choose after the UG course.

All these will be possible if you have a UG degree certificate from a recognized college or university..

for doing MBA you need good score in 12th plus good marks in your UG course plus you need to write the mba entrance exams like MAT, CAT, XAT, SNAP, etc.. If your score of the respective exam satisfies then they'll inform you the date for GD and then Interview.

You are not able to join MBA after 12th, MBA is Master Degree course and for that you need to complete a Bachelor Degree course covering three years( e.g. the best thing for doing mba is to complete BBA course in what ever specialization you need.


If you have taken Arts that is not at all a problem. You are helped by your economics subject as well as maths if you have taken that one.........

Sorry to say dear, but you cannot apply for MBA. In order to take admission in MBA course you need to fulfill required eligibility criteria which varies from institute to institute and course to course. But the most required eligibility which is same for all institute is that candidate applying for MBA course must be a bachelor degree holder. No, You can't join in MBA Course after COmpleting 12th standard.

12th Standard is not enough academic qualification for MBA Course. MBA is only open for the aspirants who have completed their three/Fours years bachelor degree from recognized university.

Since, you have completed 12th standard. So, you're not applicable for MBA Course. So, I suggest you to apply for Bachelor degree course after Completing you're 12th Standard.
