Admission in B.Tech 2nd year through Karnataka-CET for Diploma in Civil Engineering final year student?


I am studying in Diploma Civil Engineering. I have completed my 2nd year and now I am studying in my final year. I want to apply for Karnataka CET for getting admission in B.Tech 2nd year. So, Karnataka CET is my right choice? Can I get admission?

Yes, appearing in Karnataka Diploma CET (Common Entrance Test) is a best choice for you being a Diploma holder. Basically there is a certain educational qualification that is required in order to be eligible for appearing in Karnataka Diploma CET Examination and here are the instructions.

<> Karnataka Diploma CET Examination is basically conducted by Karnataka Education Authority and this examination is generally conducted for offering admission into,
* B.Tech courses (through lateral entry scheme) or else,
* 1st year of Architecture course

<> Hence, choosing this option is a right choice for you as far as good career opportunities are concerned. As you are presently pursuing 3rd year of Diploma course, I suggest you to concentrate well on subjects that are covered in Diploma course. So that, you may get good score in Diploma CET Examination and there by you may find a seat in best colleges into 2nd year of B.Tech course through lateral entry scheme.
