Possibility to get admission in B.Arch 2nd year for Diploma Civil student?


Dear Friends,
Can I join 2nd year in B.Arch after completing my Diploma in Civil Engineering? Kindly let me know about this as soon as possible. Waiting for your reply.

No, it is not possible to get admission in B.Arch 2nd year after completion of your three years Diploma course in Civil Engineering. There is no lateral entry scheme for admissions in B.Arch course. Admission in all the colleges are offered in first year of B.Arch course.

To get admission in B.Arch course, you must have to appear in NATA examination. Candidates who have qualified an aptitude test in Architecture and have secured 50%
marks in 10+2 or equivalent examination with Mathematics as one of the subjects from a recognised board are eligible for admission to B.Arch. Course.

No, diploma in Civil Engineering candidates are not eligible for B.Arch course.

Those candidates who have completed diploma in Architecture from a recognized university are eligible for B.Architecture.

Your age should be above 17 years.

No, I am sorry to say that you cannot get admission in B.Arch course after completion of your Diploma in Civil Engineering as there is no such provision for it.

However, you might get admission in 2nd year of B,Tech(Civil) after clearing LEET examination.
