Admission in B.Tech 2nd year through Karnataka-CET for Diploma in Mechanical Engineering final year student?


I am studying in Diploma in Mechanical Engineering. I have completed my 2nd year and now I am studying in my final year. I want to apply for Karnataka CET for getting admission in B.Tech 2nd year. So, Karnataka CET is my right choice? Can I get admission?

Eligibility Criteria Required for Karnataka Diploma CET Examination:

Yes, appearing in Karnataka Diploma Common Entrance Examination is best and recommended option for candidates who are willing to pursue B.Tech/ B.E through lateral entry scheme. Karnataka Diploma CET Examination is conducted by Karnataka Education Authority.

>> Candidates who have valid score of this Karnataka Diploma CET Examination will be eligible to get admission into,
* 1st year of Architecture course (or)
* 2nd year of Engineering (through lateral entry scheme)

Hence, I can say that you are certainly eligible to get admission into 2nd year of Bachelor's Degree through this Diploma Common Entrance Examination. As far as my best knowledge is concerned, commencement of online applications will be available in the month of May, 2018 and date of conduct of examination will be in the month of July, 2018.
