Admission in IIT after completing diploma in Computer Branch? Which college is best to join for engineering?
I am a Student of diploma in computer Branch. So after completing diploma can I take admission for IIT? And which college is good

No, being a Diploma holder, you are not eligible to take admission in IIT. To be eligible to get admission in IIT, the candidate must have appeared, qualified and secured top rank in JEE Main and Advance examination. Candidates who have completed 12th standard with Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry subjects from a recognised board are eligible to appear in JEE Main examination and candidates who have qualified and secured top 1,50,000 rank in JEE Main examination are eligible to appear in JEE Advance examination.

Admission in IITs is not possible through lateral entry exam and you have to opt for any other lateral entry exam which offer admission in 2nd year of B.Tech course.
Lateral entry admission is not offered by IITs and only a few universities offer admission through this scheme. Just apply for exams like JELET/LEET/DET. |
