I am Ranveer Singh Gusaine of Uttrakhand, Kashipur age 17 years after passing Higher Secondary, I am in Government Polytechnic of branch Diploma in Computer Science Engineering in 2nd year now. I want to do B.Tech after it by same branch. Please tell me after B.Tech I can join Indian Air Force?

If you have B.Tech degree then you are eligible for Indian Air Force exam through AFCAT exam.

Flying Branch:-

Educational qualification:- If you have completed BE/B.Tech degree from a recognized university then you are eligible for flying branch exam.Your 12th standard subject must be physics and Mathematics.

Your age should be in between 19 to 23 years.

Technical Branch:-

Educational qualification:- If you have completed BE/B.Tech in Aeronautical engineering from a recognized university then you are eligible for Technical Branch exam.

Your age should be in between 18 to 28 years.

Ground Duty Branches:-

Educational qualification:- If you have completed in PG Degree/Bachelor Degree in any subjects from a recognized university then you are eligible for Ground Duty Branches .

Your age should be in between 19 to 27 years.

Yes you will be eligible to join Indian Air force after completing B.Tech.

To join Indian Air force you have to appear in AFCAT(Air Force Common Admission Test).

Eligibility for AFCAT:

--> Candidate have to pass B.Tech from any recognized University.

--> Candidates who are in 3rd year or final year in B.Tech can also apply for AFCAT.

--> Age of the candidate must be at least 20 years.

RECRUITMENT PROCESS IN AIR FORCE:

--> AFCAT EXAM.

--> SSB Interview.

--> Medical Test.

QUESTION PATTERN:

* AFCAT is a Multiple choice type test of 100 marks.Question includes General Aptitude,General knowledge and English comprehension.No negative marking in the examination.
