I am a diploma engineering student.
I am studying in diploma computer engineering.
My question is whether I am able to take admission in IIT.
And how can I take admission in IIT after completing my diploma in computer engineering?
I request you to give answer me as soon as possible..

No, you are not eligible to get admission in IIT. IIT stands for Indian Institute of Technology.

To get admission in IIT, candidates have to qualify in JEE examination. JEE examination is conducted in two stages as Main and Advanced.

But candidates passed diploma are not eligible to appear for JEE examination and hence not eligible to get admission in IIT. You are eligible to get admission in B.tech courses in other institutes through LEET examination.

You cannot take admission in any IIT for a B.Tech degree after doing diploma.
The eligibility criteria for get into IIT is that you must pass 12th standard board exams with a minimum percentage of 70% in PCM and you have to be in the top 20 percentile of your board.
Thus without passing 12th from a recognized board you cannot get into an IIT.

Though you still can get into IIT for M.Tech which can be done if you do B.Tech from a recognized university and get atleast 75% in it.You will have to give the entrance exam GATE to get into IIT for an M.Tech degree.

JEE Mains exam is conducted for the admission in engineering at IITs, NITs. About 14 lakh candidates appear for JEE Main every year, out of which only 1.5 lakhs are selected for admissions to the second stage of entrance test.

JEE Main eligibility criteria-

Passing marks in 12th /Qualifying exam
> Candidate must have studied Physics and Mathematics in their class 12th or diploma.
>They must have studied at least one out of the below optional subjects : Chemistry, Biology, Computer Science and Bio-technology.

Age Limit
> Candidates age should be within 17 years to 25 years

Number of Attempts-

> Candidates are allowed maximum three attempts.

After completing my diploma course in #cs ..
Is there any way through which i can study IIT course?
And i'm from nepal can i get admited in that??
