I completed my diploma in ECE. I haven’t studied higher secondary. Am I eligible for hotel management and if I am eligible, then what are the courses available for me in hotel management?

Yes, you are eligible for hotel management course.

Those candidates who have completed 12th standard or diploma course from a recognized board with above 40% marks are eligible for hotel management course.

But your age should be below 22 years.

You are eligible for all the courses which require higher secondary as the eligibility criteria. Since you have studies diploma, it is equivalent to the higher secondary and you need not to pursue the 12th again.

There are degree and diplomas available in the Hotel Management Course. You can pursue one if you want to.

You can do the Engineering as well if you want.

Yes, after the diploma, if you want to get into Engineering then there is a special examination for the diploma fellows named LEET.

If you qualify in the Test then you will be allotted a seat in the engineering college based on the rank in the examination and your diploma percentage.

You will be given the admission in directly in the 2nd year of engineering.

I am sorry to say that you are not eligible for Hotel Management courses after the completion of Diploma in ECE as you have not completed class 12th education.
Candidates those who have completed their class 12th or equivalent in any discipline from a recognised Board with a minimum of 50% of marks in it are eligible to opt for Hotel Management courses.
