Re: B.Tech in other states by joining directly in 2nd year?
This is a very good thought of going for higher studies right after your diploma rather than going for jobs. This will not only enhance your educational qualification but also create better job opportunities for you in the future.
Coming to your query, yes you can definitely do engineering in other by joining directly in the 2nd year of engineering through lateral entry scheme. However, you cannot go for the colleges that comes under the Board of Technical Education in other states. This is because each state conducts LEET exam for the diploma candidates to seek admission in the engineering colleges of the concerned state. Since you are from other state, so you cannot appear for this state and hence cannot take admission in the colleges who take admission through the LEET score of the concerned state. You can take admission in the private universities or deemed or autonomous universities of other states who conduct their own lateral entry entrance test for admission of diploma candidates directly in the second year of engineering through lateral entry scheme. |

Re: B.Tech in other states by joining directly in 2nd year?
Yes sure you can go for B.Tech in other states also after completing your diploma. There is no restriction like doing B.Tech outside from any other states. So the answer is very simple that yes you can go for the B.Tech course after completing your diploma course.
Talking about how to get admission in the B.Tech course after completing your diploma course so this is also simple. Many of colleges provides direct admission in the 2nd year of B.Tech course but this is only for those students who have done there diploma before. As you are doing diploma and in 2-3 years you will complete your diploma and after that yes you can take admission directly in the 2nd year even in any other state also. Some of the universities and colleges takes an entrance exam for giving admission in B.Tech course while some of the colleges gives directly admission in the 2nd year on the basis of marks scored in the diploma. So if you score good marks in your diploma then sure you can get good college for your B.Tech. So this is best for you to score good marks in your diploma to get a good college. |
