i am saran doing my 2nd year btech IT course.
i am very much interested in joining INDIAN ARMY. but i am having FLAT FOOT. am i eligible for any technical posts which doesn't meet my physical fitness. eagerly waiting for ur reply sir..

You can join Indian Navy after passing B.Tech degree through CDS exam conducted by UPSC .

The eligibility criteria required to appear for CDS exam are as under :-

-The candidate must be an Indian .

-The candidate must have passed B.Sc with Physics & Mathematics or Bachelor of Engineering degree for joining Indian Naval Academy .

-The age limit to apply for the Indian Naval Academy is 19 years to 22 years.

-The candidate should be physically fit as per the Physical Standards for admission to CDS exam.

-The exam process involves

*Written Exam

*Interview by Services Selection Board.

The physical requirements to join Navy are

Height : 157 cm for male and 152 cm for female

Eye sight : 6/6 for good eye and 6/12 for worst eye without color blindness .

Chest :77 cm without expansion and 82 cm with expansion.

-The candidate should not have knock knee, flat foot, varicose vein or squint in eyes.

hello dear,

Yes you can enter into the education field as an education officer in indian army.

So its notification will come in the end WEEK OF DECEMBER and in May.

But for that you should be a post graduate student.

Even if you want to enter, you have to go for the ssb exam..crack it..
