What is better after studying 10 in gseb board for mechanical engineering diploma or degree? Can someone please guide me with the information on the same? Awaiting to get the answer soon on this. Hope that someone would help me from here!

Diploma is for those who want to get a technical job at an early age. On the basis of diploma you will become eligible for many government and private jobs which a class 12th candidate can't apply.

Hence, it will depend on your choice and if you are looking for a longer route to your professional career then class 12th will be a better option.

After completing Tenth standard you can either join in diploma or inter.Diploma is better for students who want to settle in their life soon and have interest in technical knowledge.You can get a job if you complete your diploma by the age of 18 years.If you are interested to study further,then you can write the lateral entry exam and join in engineering.So,you can do anything you wish but if you are studying degree you should wait at least till 21 years to get into a job.

If you have interest in technology the you can join diploma & then you can complete graduation after diploma. Also you can good job in government or private sectors after diploma.

But if you have interest in science or other than engineering, then you can go for 12th. But diploma is not equivalent to 12th.

After 10th you can join only diploma not degree.

Diploma is 3 years duration course after 10th. So you are eligible for diploma in mechanical engineering.
But you can join degree after 12th or you can also join degree after diploma by lateral entry.
