Post Graduate Diploma is considered as a Master degree course. If you have completed Post Graduate Diploma through recognized university then definitely you are eligible NET entrance exam.

National Eligibility Test (NET) exam conducted by University Grants Commission (UGC ). It's conduct exam for Lectureship and Junior Research Fellowship (JRF).

Eligibility Criteria:-

Applicant who have secured at least 55% marks (50 per cent for OBC/SC/ST/PWD) in Post graduation course or equivalent course from universities/institutions recognised by UGC are eligible. Applicants who have appeared or will be appearing at the qualifying Master's degree can also eligible to apply.

The applicant should not be more than 28 years of age as on June 6, 2014 and relaxation will be given to reserved category students 5 years for SC/ST category students and 3 years for OBC category students.

There is no age limit for Lectureship.
