It is good that you have chosen your career objective in the 10th standard. As you are interested in electrical engineering it is better to go for diploma course rather than opting science in HSC. Because diploma will give you more subject knowledge and a grip on the electrical engineering. So i suggest you to take the electrical engineering in the diploma.

You can opt for Diploma course or Science stream in 11th standard in which you are interested after completion of your 10th standard with an aggregate of 85% marks from a recognised board. It is best to opt for Diploma course rather than opting for Science stream in 11th standard because by pursuing Diploma course, you can gain more practical knowledge when compared to knowledge gained by pursuing 11th standard and you can also find many job opportunities after completion of your Diploma course. So, I suggest you to opt for Diploma course after completion of your 10th standard.
