Sir, now I have completed the diploma in production technology. So, question is, can I join after diploma in India or I must do degree in production engineering?

Bachelor of Technology in Production Engineering is an undergraduate Production Engineering course. The duration of this course is four years.

For this course candidate must have passed 12th passed from a recognized board.

As per my knowledge, you are eligible for B.Tech after diploma in production technology. For getting admission in B.Tech second years admission you need to appear in the LEET examination. The admission of candidate will be done on the basis of entrance examination.

My suggestion to you is that you can score good marks in the entrance examination for getting admission in reputed engineering college in India.

Yes, you are eligible to get admission for pursuing B.Tech course after completion of your Diploma in Production Technology from a recognised board. Candidates who have passed three years Diploma in Production Technology course are eligible to get lateral entry admission in second year of four years production engineering, manufacturing engineering or other related streams.

After completion of diploma in production engineering, you are eligible for B.Tech course in Production Engineering but you should qualify in lateral entry exam.

Yes, you can join Bachelor of Technology in Production engineering after diploma in production technology. There are two entrance exams for diploma candidates to get admission in Bachelor of technology. If you want to study B.Tech from NITs or other government engineering college, you must apply for Joint Entrance Examination Main.

Second entrance examination for diploma candidates to get direct admission in second year of engineering is Lateral Entry Entrance Test. Minimum of 60% marks in diploma is required to apply for LEET exam.
