Can I join B.Tech chemical engineering via lateral entry on the basis of diploma computer engineering?
Sir, I am a Diploma Computer Engineering Holder. I would like to know whether, I can join Chemical Engineering for B.Tech via lateral entry else, what courses can I join respectively.

No, you are not eligible to join B.Tech Chemical Engineering course through lateral entry on the basis of Diploma Computer Engineering course. Only candidates who have passed three years Diploma course in Chemical Engineering or related stream are eligible to get admission in second year of B.Tech Chemical Engineering course. Since, you have passed Diploma course in Computer Engineering, you can get lateral entry admission in second year of B.Tech Computer Engineering course.

Bachelor of Technology in Chemical Engineering is an undergraduate Chemical Engineering course.
As per my knowledge, you are not eligible to join B.Tech chemical engineering via lateral entry on the basis of diploma computer engineering. My suggestion to you is that you can join B.Tech Computer Engineering course via lateral entry on the basis of diploma computer engineering. The duration of B.Tech Computer Engineering course via lateral entry is three years. |
