I am a diploma final year student in TamilNadu. Can I join as an SI with that Tamilnadu university diploma certificate in Kerala? What is the procedure which I need to follow for the same? Awaiting to get the answer on the same. Thank you!

SI IN KERALA WITH DIPLOMA CERTIFICATE

* Sorry you are not eligible for SI in Kerala with a diploma certificate.

* For SI you need Graduation in any stream from recognized university.

* Age of candidate is must be between 19 to 28 years.

No, you cannot join as an SI in Kerala with a Diploma certificate. The minimum educational qualification required to apply for SI post is completion of Bachelor's degree course in any discipline from a recognised university. The age limit required to apply for SI post is 21-30 years. Upper age relaxation is applicable to reserved category candidates as per government rules. Since, you have not completed Bachelor's degree course, being a Diploma holder, you cannot apply for SI post in Kerala with your Diploma certificate.

No, diploma candidates are not eligible for SI entrance exam.

Educational Qualification:

Graduation degree from a recognized university.

Age:

Minimum age = 20 years
Minimum age = 28 years

Nationality:

Indian.

Age relaxation:-

SC/ST- 5 years

OBC- 3 years

Ex-Servicemen ( Unreserved)- 5 years

Ex-Servicemen (OBC)- 8 years

Ex-Servicemen (SC/ST)- 10 years

Sorry that you are not eligible for Kerala Police Sub Inspector post with Diploma qualification. Those who are interested to apply for Kerala Sub Inspector must complete Graduation or its equivalent qualification from a recognized university. The candidate's minimum age should be 21 years and maximum 25 years. Those who belongs to the reserved category can get upper age relaxation. The selection is based on Written Examination, and Physical Test. I suggest you to complete Graduation to be eligible for Kerala Police SI post.

I had completed 3 year polytechnic diploma in electronics after completion of my 10th. Does the diploma is equivalent to intermediate because diploma is 10 3 and intermediate is 10 2?
