Sir, I have completed my diploma in mechanical engineering with 66%. I want to take admission for degree. Please tell me some colleges that will offer placements by considering my marks which will give me admission?

Diploma candidates can get admission in Bachelor of technology through LEET examination not on basis of marks in diploma.

Eligibility criteria for LEET exam:

*Diploma from any AICTE recognized technical institute.

*Percentage of marks in diploma to apply for LEET is 60%.

You have 66% marks in diploma in mechanical engineering, you are eligible to apply for LEET to get admission in B.Tech.

The candidates after completion of diploma in engineering can join the B.Tech course through lateral entry mode in various engineering colleges in India. The candidates will be admitted to the engineering colleges through lateral entry entrance examination (LEET). Almost all the engineering colleges offer admission in B.Tech course for candidates who have completed three years Diploma in Mechanical Engineering course from a recognised university. Being a Diploma holder in engineering, you are eligible to get lateral entry admission in second year of four years B.E/ B.Tech course through lateral entry admission process. Only NITs and very few other colleges does not offer lateral entry admission in B.Tech course.
