Eligibility for diploma in Mass communication through lateral entry aftre 3 year course diploma in computer Engineering?


Journalism is a passion for me ... But, i did a polytechnic, three year course diploma in computer engineering.... The question is can i join a mass communication course through lateral entry????

Sorry that you are not eligible for Mass Communication course after completing Diploma in Computer Engineering. Only those candidates who have studied Mass Communication or Journalism course are eligible to apply for Bachelor Degree in Mass Communication through lateral Entry. Since, you have studied Computer Science specialization in Diploma, which is not related to journalism.

B.A in Mass Communication Eligibility Criteria:

- A pass in 12th standard in any of the areas of Arts, Science or Commerce are eligible to B.A Mass Communication. The qualification must be obtained with a minimum of 50% marks.

- Some reputed Institutions carry out admission process on the basis of the marks obtained in the 12th standard, whereas some others carry out entrance exams for the purpose.
