Hello,
I have done my Graduation in Journalism and PG Diploma in Media Management. Now, I want to pursue M.A. to go for NET exam. There are many universities offering lateral entry courses in Mass Communication? Are these lateral entry MA Mass Communication courses eligible for NET exam in India?

Lateral Entry in M.A course is not eligible to apply for UGC NET Examination. NET i.e National Eligibility Test is conducted by University Grants Commission twice in a year. To apply for this examination, the applicant should have completed Post Graduation Course in any discipline from a recognized University or equivalent qualification. Applicant must have secured at least 55% marks and 50% marks for reserved categories. Applicant who are appearing in the final year of master degree may also apply.

Ma'am, if I do a pg diploma from Indian Institute of Mass Communication of 1 year and then another year through lateral entry in Guru Jambeshwar University (Central University), will I be eligible for NET as I would have a degree by then?

I have done MA journalism in 1 year after 1 year PG diploma in IIMC, Can I appear NET

i have acquired Post Graduate Diploma in Journalism and Mass Communication from Bharathiya VidyaBhavan and i want to persue M.A In journalism and Mass Communication on direct entry to Final year ie lateral entry basis. Kindly inform which state open universities offer MA MCJ on lateral entry basis
