Diploma holders are not eligible to write JEE Main or JEE Advanced examination because IIT's & NIT's does not offer lateral entry admission in Engineering course. AIEEE has been replaced by JEE Main examination. Candidates who have pursued 12th standard with Non-Medical Science stream from a recognised board are eligible to appear in JEE Main (AIEEE) examination. Candidates who have appeared, qualified and secured top 1,50,000 rank in JEE Main examination are eligible to appear in JEE Advance examination. So, being a Diploma holder, you are not eligible to appear in JEE Main and Advanced examination.

Diploma candidates are not eligible for JEE Entrance exam.

AIEEE has been replaced by IIT JEE exam.

Eligibility for IIT JEE exam:-

1.Candidates must have studied Physics and Mathematics in their Class 12.

2.Candidates must have studied at least one out of the below as optional subjects: Chemistry, Biology, Computer Science and Bio-technology.

3.Candidates must have scored total 50% marks (minimum) in all subjects.

You must know that All India Engineering Entrance Examination is not conducted now and is replaced by Joint Entrance Exam Main. Joint Entrance Examination is conducted by Central Board of Secondary Education. It has two stages namely Main and Advanced.

JEE Main's score along with 10+2 marks is taken in account for admission in institutes like NITs, IIITs and other government engineering college. JEE advanced score is used for admission in IITs. A candidate must qualify JEE Main to appear for Advanced stage.

Diploma holders are only eligible for JEE Main stage. You can apply for JEE Main exam next year, important dates for this year exam is already over.

Now, there is no AIEEE entrance examination and now it is conducted as JEE Main ( 1st stages of JEE ).

Also, diploma passed candidates are not eligible to appear for JEE examination and hence, you are not eligible to appear for JEE entrance examination to get admission in B.tech course.

But , if you are interested in pursuing B.tech course, you can appear for LEET for direct entry in 2nd year B.tech course.

No, diploma passed candidates are not eligible to appear for JEE examination. JEE examination is conducted by CBSE and IIT every year.

The eligibility to appear for examination is candidate must have passed 10+2 from any recognised board with PCM as main paper. Candidate must have minimum 50% in PCM.

So, you are not eligible to appear for examination. No, AIEEE examination is conducted now. For more information about JEE examination visit at www.cbse.nic.in.
