Yes definately, A diploma student write in IIT JEE Exams.

If you have scored minimum 60% marks in your 3 year diploma course, then you are eligible to apply in IIT JEE exams.

So, please dont confuse, that the diploma students are not eligible for IIT JEE exams. They will definately appear in this exams.

And please make sure that the candidate can attempt IIT JEE only two times, in consecutive years.

So, if you want to appear in this exams, then please work hard for that only then you will get sucess in this exams.

Because for this exams, lots of preperation is required.

Yes you can appear for IIT JEE,but there is no lateral entry.you need to start from 1st year.

Pros and cons of answering IIT JEE after diploma

Pros: You will get into the top institutes of the country which are the IIT's. This means that you will have the best 4 years of your life in IITs and also the placement in IITs rock and you know that

Cons: If you answer IIT JEE after you diploma you wont be admitted to direct 2nd year course instead you will be admitted to direct 1st year.

Unlike IIT JEE if you answer other entrance exams like IPUCET, LEET.. You will be directly be admitted to 2nd year instead of 1st year. So you 1 year is saved

But according to me loosing 1 year for IIT is damn worth..I would say go for it and prepare for IIT JEE and try to get into the IITs

Diploma students,60% aggregate in graduation are eligible for IIT JEE.
If you have 60% aggregate than you are eligible for that...
A effective preparation must be needed for this type of exem,please prepare yourself very well...

Yea you may appear in IIT JEE after your diploma in electrical engineering.

If you secure a good rank then you will be able to take admission in one IIT. IIT are the best institution in india so you should try for it. After passing out from IIT you will face a good scope and job opportunity.

There is no lateral entry scheme in IIT so you will not be able to take admission directly into second year of graduation. If you are able to secure rank in IIT JEE them you will be able to take admission into first year of graduation.

But in some other institution lateral entry scheme is there. If you can clear the lateral entry entrance examination then you will a able to take admission directly into second year. This will save your one year. There are so many good institution other than IIT also. So you should try for it.

hi, diploma students can also apply for JEE.
but the only thing required is you course must be recognized by AICTE or a state Board of technical education.
in addition to this you need to have at least passed 10th standard

i am sorry my friend but diploma holders can't appear for the IIT-JEE as the minimum requirement to sit for IIT-JEE is that a student must be a 12th pass-out with 60% aggregate in PCM..hence you are not eligible..i am sorry
